explanation

this pager service allows people to send you messages from anywhere in the world, via the world wide web.

you can have the pages go to multiple email addresses, including your cell phone if it can accept emails.

if your cell phone number is (212) 555-1234 (for example) your pager email might be 2125551234@mobile.att.net. see the website of your service provider for details.

the people who send you pages do not know where they go, so your email addresses are kept safe from spammers.

you can easily add a pager form to your own web pages.

you can even set up accounts to page other people.

all beta users (you) will receive this service for free for at least one full year.

please enjoy this free (for now?) pager service.

privacy

we promise not to reveal your personal information or the contents of the messages you recieve to any third party, with the exception of cooperating with valid law enforcement requests.

you will never be spammed by us, and we will safeguard your information to prevent others from doing so.

note that this is not a "secure" web page, so any pages sent and your account details can potentially be intercepted in transit through the internet.

do not worry about interception unless you normally worry about the privacy of your conventional email traffic, since this pager system is about as secure as normal email.

you will be contacted via a page if the terms of this privacy statement ever change and you will be given ample opportunity to delete your account.
